Cancellation and Substitution Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to America’s Essential Hospitals by May 6 for a full refund. Cancellations made between May 6 and May 27 will be granted, less a $150 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received or postmarked after May 27. Registrations are transferable among individuals from the same organization at no additional charge through May 27. A $150 processing fee will apply for any transfer requests received after May 27. **Complimentary registrations are nontransferable.

Description
Building Infrastructure to Combat Structural Racism
Join us as we help essential hospitals evaluate current norms, practices, and policies that perpetuate structural racism. During this session, participants learn how to remove structural barriers and create infrastructure to promote an antiracist culture through the development of policies and processes that are effective inside and outside the hospital walls.

Climate Resilience and Decarbonization Lunch
This year’s VITAL conference features a climate luncheon sponsored by the Kresge Foundation as a part of an ongoing partnership to build climate resilience in essential hospitals. Leaders from the grantee organizations: University of California San Francisco, St. Luke’s University Health System and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences will present on their on-going work in climate resilience. The presentations will be followed by an open forum for members to discuss the current landscape surrounding this work. The Climate Luncheon will be hosted on the first day of VITAL, Wednesday, June 22nd (12-1PM EST) and includes a buffet. Registration for this event can be completed during conference registration.
